I slept in the human's bed again all night. I believe I may be getting accustomed to this behavior. I got up at 7:00am with the other dogs but then, just to keep everyone on their toes, I snuck back into bed with Nancy, who is usually gone during the week. I finally got up at 8:00am and Robert had to reheat my breakfast for me (which I appreciated).
It has been raining hard here all day and, being a true vizsla, I am reluctant to go out in the rain to do my business. I am somewhat overwhelmed by the extra two dogs that were not here last week, Gracie (vizsla) and Rothko (vizsla), though I get along with them all with no issues. It is just that I think I would like the humans all to myself, or maybe with just 1 or 2 dogs.
I had my last antibiotic today. Nancy tried to give it to me in some peanut butter, but I refused it. That is when she realized why I did not like the Zukes soft treats she bought me yesterday; they are peanut butter flavored, though now that I think of it so are the hard biscuits Robert fed me before my surgery. Just more of the mysterious vizsla personality, I guess. Robert came to my rescue and gave me my pill in a warm cheeseball, which I think I may miss.
I am still receiving my ear treatment and only have two more days of that, thankfully. My sutures are doing fine, though they should be dissolving any day now. Robert has started to supplement my meals of rice, hamburger and canned wet food with a little well-soaked kibble and I am handling that just fine.....

Well, I checked last night and this morning to see how you were doing. Finally the blog was up and I could see how you are doing. My friends have all looked at you on the vizsla website. One comment: "he looks very intelligent." I guess that explains how well you can write about yourself. I am really looking forward to meeting you next Sunday and hope you like us as much as I already like you. Take your medicine like a good boy. You are very lucky to have Nancy and Robert caring for you so lovingly. If you move in with us, do you think they'll come cook breakfast?
